
Road work on Hilltop ending August 9th

The Street Division will be reconstructing this segment of roadway on Northwest Hilltop Drive.
Lane Closure begins June 25th,2018 at 1913 NW Cache Rd.

The outside and center lane of NW Cache Road will be closed from NW 19th St to NW 20th St to allow the Street Division to make concrete road repairs.
The work will start on June 25, 2018 at 7:00 am and last until July 6, 2018, weather permitting.
Expect delays in this area during construction and reduced speed limits.
Caution should be used in this area because men and equipment will be in the roadway.

Meadowbrook closing for thru traffic for repairs, begins June 25th

Beginning June 25th, a portion of Meadow Brook Drive, adjacent to Wolf Creek and as outlined on the attached map, will be closed to both east- and westbound traffic for the construction of a sewer trunk main line. The road is slated to reopen July 18. Signage will be placed accordingly.
PLEASE NOTE THAT DURING CONSTRUCTION IT WILL NOT BE POSSIBLE TO USE MEADOW BROOK DRIVE AS A THRU-ROAD FROM 38TH STREET TO 53RD STREET OR VICE VERSA DUE TO THIS CLOSURE. Road closures on Gore for waterline movements

As 52nd Street Construction Project progress continues, please be advised that:
* MAY 14: Westbound travelers on Gore Boulevard will not be able to south on SW 52nd Street but will be rerouted by signage through 51st Street.
* MAY 15-20: Signage will guide westbound drivers on Gore to one-lane traffic toward the construction area.
This may cause congestion in the area as speeds will be reduced. Additional, relevant information to this project will be made available at lawtonok.gov, City social media and the traditional Press. REMEMBER TRAFFIC PATTERNS WILL BE FLUID ACCORDING TO NEEDED CLOSURES DAILY; PLEASE ADHERE TO ALL SIGNAGE AND AVOID THIS AREA IF POSSIBLE.
Thank you for your patience and support of this project, which is being carried out by T&G Construction of Lawton. The voter-approved 480-day, $6.1 million project began in September 2017 and is set for completion in January 2019.

Areas of Southwest 52nd Street between Gore Boulevard and Lee Boulevard will be closed to both north- and southbound traffic from approximately 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on March 6 as the moving of waterlines continues to be carried out. Traffic is advised to avoid this area if possible; detour signs will be placed accordingly.
From 9 a.m. to noon, the road will be closed between 50th and Atom; from noon to 5 p.m., the road will be closed between Beta and 45th. A color-coordinated map has been attached for your reference.

This 480-day, 6.1 million dollar project began in September 2017 and is funded by a voter-approved CIP plan. Work is being carried out by T&G Construction of Lawton.
The City of Lawton is working closely with Lawton Public Schools, neighboring citizens and local business owners to minimize disruption by keeping parties aware and informed. As of February 2018, approximately 20 percent of the overall project work has been completed. We thank you for your patience and support of this project.
